Bio

A dedicated and non-stop student-athlete, Mike Hardman, played hockey with us for two years. As a score maker and setting up assisted drives, Mike, now an NHL player was cut by his past high school before transferring to the Winch.

The Hanover native has held notable statistics that are unlike many; scored 39 goals in the BCHL (2018-19) becoming second-leading, was recognized as a Second Team All-Star for the BCHL, scored 72 points with the West Kelowna Warriors (3rd overall), received the Bob Fenton Trophy as the Most Sportsmanlike Player, and stacked up 24 goals and 30 assists only in 28 games (2016-17) through his time with us.

Mike's Former Winchendon Coach, Brian Troy, knew he was special from the start; “I knew Michael had something extra in the fall of his last year here. I went to a game of his during the state tournament and he played so well that Jarrett Sampson and I knew he was going on to do amazing things. We had no clue it was going to be this amazing, but we knew he had the drive to get there. “

Mike spent two years at Boston College before playing in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks.
