Bio
Summer, a true 3-sport varsity athlete and a joy to be around carries a personality quite like no other. On the field or the court, she is a Co-Captain and a leader. Outside of her sports, she is someone who gives back to her community with great empathy.
The Longmeadow native spends most of her time playing at a high level in her first sport, Lacrosse, with Basketball, and Soccer not far behind. Summer is an honors student and holds a Marketing job at the school as well. She is also immersed in our WACA (Winchendon Alumni of Color Association) which is one part of her story to inspire the youngins who look up to her as a role model. Mentioned in the USA Lacrosse Magazine, the article emphasizes her compassion as a caretaker for her great-uncle while gathering quite a fanbase of young boys and girls in awe of her character.
When you think of Girls Lacrosse, you think of Summer Carpenter. Her talent is exquisite but what she sets out to do is all in part of her push for individuals to "find the bright spots during the tough times"(Dejohn).
Summer is committed to Delaware State University to play DI Lacrosse.
